He is survived by: his wife Sherry Wessel of Rockford; his sons, Richard "Rich" Wessel (Jennifer) of Roscoe and Robert Wessel (Laura) of Rockford; his sisters, Nancy Harkey of Monroe Center and Joan Moore of Rockford; and his grandchildren, Eden, Keith, Corban and Grayson.
