He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Yankus and Evelyn Yankus (Kingsbury); and his nephews, Randall Allen Yankus and Richard Allen Yankus, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Yankus; his daughter Cindra Kay Burgess (Blaine) of Little Rock; his siblings, Richard Yankus (Mary), Joan Bauer of Stillman Valley and Kathy Harms (Tom) of Stillman Valley; and his grandchildren, Alec, Evan, Camryn Burgess, Grace and Elise Yankus.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Wayne's name for the benefit of Kishwaukee Community Evangelical Presbytery Church or Kishwaukee Community Cemetery Association.
