He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Quick. He is survived by: his mother Adeline Quick (Drummond) of Rockford, IL; his wife Cindy Reimer of Stillman Valley; his daughters, Stephanie Brodnick of Bloomington, IL and Lindsay Molitor (Cole Johnson) of Pecatonica, IL; his siblings, Debra Fletcher (Todd) of Rochelle, IL, Pamela Quick-Stangley (George) of Rochelle, IL, Fred Quick of Mt Vernon, IL, James "David" Quick (Cheri) of Jonesborough, TN and Robert Quick (Ginger) of Holcomb, IL; his grandchildren, Ellison Harper Brodnick, Lydia Lou Molitor and Owen Roger Johnson; his daughter Jessica Schoenrock (Tim); and his granddaughter Oliva. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established in Roger's name for the American Diabetes foundation.
