It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine D. Maas (Stillman Valley, Illinois), who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Roger Schumacher; and her sisters, Anna Elliot, Grace Blumeyer, Jeanette Garkey and Ella VanBriesen.
She is survived by: her parents, Richard Bulthaus and Anna Bulthaus (Mennenga); her husband Paul Valley; her children, Paul Maas, Jr. (Mary) of Byron and Jacquelyn Schumacher of Stillman Valley; her grandchildren, Vickie Hilliard (Greg) of Stillman Valley, Natalie Haugse (Michael) of Stillman Valley, Neysa McCammond (Stephen) of Stillman Valley, Kim Osterman of Tampa, FL and Scott Maas of Byron; her great grandchildren, Michelle Miller (Kyle), Karl, Savanna, Michael II, Valerie, Nile, Jennifer, Anthony and Blake; and also Stillman Valley.
