He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Elsworth and Mary Ann Gipson (Reints); his son Russel; and his brother Clyde. He is survived by: his wife Luella M. McKnight; his daughter Pennie Bartlett of Rockford; his grandchildren, Michelle Pratt (Eric) of Rockford, Chad Wick (Angela) of Byron, Jennifer Finkboner (Jason) of Stillman Valley and Heather Talan (George) of Stillman Valley; and his daughter-in-law Melanie Gipson of Stillman Valley. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
