With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George J. Glendenning of Stillman Valley, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bruce and Alfhild Anderson Glendenning (Clover); and his brother Floyd Glendenning. He is survived by: his wife Donna J Glendenning (Fowler); his sons, George B Glendenning (Pam), Terry S Glendenning (Tammy), Kevin L Glendenning (Kim) and Douglas J Glendenning (Jodi); his grandchildren, Michael Glendenning (Julie), Mark Glendenning (Stacey), Joshua Glendenning (Vanessa), Faith Groenhagen (Kyle), Talitha Gardner (Philip), Lucas Glendenning (Alicia), Lance Glendenning (Abby), Telah Garwacki (Rob), Abby Glendenning, Bailey Stark (Jim), Brena Ingersol (Chris), Clint Glendenning (Kayla) and Cassie Jennings (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Drew, Anna Glendenning, Adam, Jared, Jackson Glendenning, John, Isla Glendenning, Enoch, Scarlett Groenhagen, Eian, Natalie, Caleb, James Gardner, Kyla Mishler (Josiah), Micah, Lianah, Alayna Glendenning, Elijah, Ava, Ellen Glendenning, Scott, Morgan Garwacki, Kadence, Kinsley Glendenning and Joanna Jennings; his brother Tom Glendenning (Joan); and his sister-in-law Geraldine Glendenning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is established for the Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL and the Gideon International Bible Program.
