She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles James and Vernice James (Oliver); her husband Gary Hoffstead; her siblings, Charles and Velma Jean Kennedy; and her son-in-law David Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Hoffstead (Sandy) of Winfield, Kim Sexton, Gary Hoffstead of Stillman Valley, Fred Hoffstead of Beloit and Wayne Hoffstead (Mi Suk) of Beloit; and her siblings, Lynn Dicks of Port Gratiot, Sharon Towers (Dwain) of Roseville and David James (LaVonne) of Winnebago. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
