She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Paul and Ruth Paul (Drumheller); and her husband Kenneth L. Pearce. She is survived by: her children, Carol O'Keefe (Mike) of Rockford, IL, Brian Pearce (Sheri) of Stillman Valley, IL and Karen Vallem (Doug) of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, Trisha O'Keefe (Cory), Tim O'Keefe (Jackie), Talene Pearce (Keith), Brandon Simmons, Trent Simmons, Todd Vallem (Megan) and Trevor O'Keefe (Julie); and her close friend Jean Van Vleet. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Betty's memory to the American Cancer Association.
