Alvin G. Klapp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin G. Klapp (Stillman Valley, Illinois), born in German Valley, Illinois, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Klapp and Jennie Klapp (Borgman); his daughter Debra Sass; his brother Wilbur Klapp (Marge); and his brother-in-law Jim Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Klapp; his sons, Tom Klapp (Diane), Kevin Klapp (Karen) and Terry Klapp; his stepdaughter Dawn Aaronson (Aaron); his sister Linda Combs; and his grandchildren, Tanya, Daniel, Briana, Carissa, Justin, Nathan, Terry, Jr., Tisha, Mike, Chris, Trae and Evan. He is also survived by numerous great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established for the Stillman Valley Fire Station and the Monroe Center Community Church.
