He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Karpus; his daughter Christine Karpus; and his parents, Leo and Lillie. He is survived by: his daughter Loretta Barker (Eric); his grandchildren, Michael Karpus, Anna Barker and Aaron Barker; and his sisters, Lenore Firkin and Lorraine Kubowicz (Robert).
