With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Sauer of Stickney, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his children, Michael, Christine Lindsay and Thomas; and his brothers, Robert and Edwin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Stephen (Donna), Kathy Teel (Gene) and Jeannine; his grandchildren, Debra Lindsay, John Lindsay, Jason Hausknecht, Robert Lindsay (Andrea), Holly Leyden and Katelyn; his great grandchild Aaron Kwiatkowski; and his sister Mary Kastigar. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Due to COVID-19, services will be limited to family.
