It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gloria B. Schwendner (Stickney, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Borucki and Anna Borucki; her husband George Schwendner; and her sisters, Elsie, Helen, Gertie and Lorrayne.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Harris (James) and Lee Schwendner (Carla); and her grandchildren, Scott Harris (Julie), Anne Heckman (Tim), Eric Schwendner and Emily Schwendner (Jacob Jewulski). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
When the current pandemic and days of remote learning began, Gloria spoke about a childhood experience of her own with remote learning.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St Jude Children's Hospital, in memory of Gloria, would be appreciated.
