She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spevak and Emily Spevak (Vermoch); her husband James L. Kniffin Sr.; her son-in-law Gerald Capp; and her brother-in-law Vlasta Jelinek.
She is survived by: her sister Sylvia Jelinek; her children, Deanna Capp, James Kniffin, Jr. (Martha) and Denise Hoger; and her grandchildren, Allen Capp (Becky), Lisa Capp, Laura Kniffin, James Kniffin, III (Sarah), Maribeth Kniffin (Anurag Mandalika), Scott Hoger Jr. (Cynthia) and Kelly Lezza (Jim). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
