It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Lee Shadwell of Stewardson, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shadwell and Mary Vernette Shadwell; his wife Vicki; and his brother George. He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Zalman, Bruce Shadwell (Lisa) and Carla Vonderheide; and his nieces and nephews, Angie, Mike, Kris, Dakota, Alex, Anthony and Mary.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (405 S Henrietta St, Effingham, IL 62401).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stewardson American Legion.
