He is survived by: his wife Maxine Beals; his daughter Judy Carter (John) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Michelle Cox (Josh) of Murphysboro, Chris Pike (Jennifer) of Sebring and Landan Thompson of Lerna; his great grandchildren, Aden Wise of Murphysboro, Jordan and Macie Pike of Mattoon; and his siblings, Carolyn Hackman of Shumway and Don Kaufman of Sigel.
