He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia Louise (Rincker) and Edward John Fred Hartman; and his siblings, Ervin Lloyd Hartman, Harold Dwane Hartman (Rhea Miller) and Vera Marie Schmitt (Roy).
He is survived by: his wife Maude Eleanor Daily; and his nieces and nephews, Doris Supan (August), Irene Pechman (Kenneth), Ann Musser (Mark), Lee Hartman (Karen) and Ray Hartman (Eileen).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Strasburg, IL, Wilbur Braughton American Legion Post #611 of Stewardson, IL or the Stewardson Veterans Memorial.
