It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William D. Martin of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Martin and Dorothy Martin (Hollers); his brother Andrew Helfers; and his nephew Patrick Phillips, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Martin of Sterling; his children, Heather Martin of Sterling, Andrew Martin (Betty) of Sterling, Tyler Martin (Sierrah) of Sterling, Branden Martin of Sterling, Jordan Martin of Sterling, Abigale Martin of Sterling and Justin Wade of Sterling; and his sisters, Wanda Phillips (Patrick) of Sterling and Donna Martin of Rock Falls. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
