With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas R. Lawson Jr. of Sterling, Illinois, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on January 31, 2024 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas, Sr. Heflin and Karen Heflin (Madden). He is survived by: his siblings, Whitney Gerrity (Matthew) of Rock Falls, Kimberly Webb (Scott) of Dixon, Shawn Lawson (Katie) of Rock Falls, Michael Merema (Sheena) of Morrison and Michelle Goff of Douglas, WY; his stepchildren, Amy Landrum (Scott) of Carpentersville, Erich Helle-Warren of Sterling and Natasha Warren of Rock Falls; and his stepfather Wayne Heflin of Sterling. He is also survived by two grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
