She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Smith and Marjorie Smith (Dettman); and her siblings, Becky and Rick. She is survived by: her husband James Grobe of Sterling; her daughters, Victoria Mitchell (Dane) of Rockford and Randii Walls (Joe Jaszczak) of Sterling; her stepchildren, Hannah Dixon (Ryan) of Arlington Heights, Chad Reed of Polo and Zachary Grobe (Laina) of Peoria; her sisters, Barbara Fagen (Jim Craig), Brooke Cochran (Earl) of Sterling, Shawn Nelson (Steve) of Sterling and Dawn Bowman (Dave) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, MaKenna Reed, Dawson Reed, Trip Mitchell, Raelynn Grobe, Alice Jaszczak and Anabelle Jaszczak.
In lieu of flowers memorials have been established to Rock River Hospice and Home and Grace Episcopal Church of Sterling.
