He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Marlier and Irma Marlier (Herman); his wife Shirley Watt; his sons, Matthew Marlier (Angela) of Moline, IL and Michael Marlier; his stepdaughters, Kimberly Crump (Phillip) of Sterling and Amy; and his grandchildren, Sarah Kittleson (Isaac), Drew Marlier, Hayley Marlier, Alexzander Crump, Molly Ruiz (Hector), James Crump, Amber Smith and Bailey Smith.
