We bid farewell to Robert J. McCue (Sterling, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McCue and Elizabeth McCue; his wife Merrilee A. McCue (McCombs); and his brothers, Joseph Laurence and Frank McCue Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle McCue, Marcia McCue and Elizabeth "Bear" Fischbach (Brent); his grandchildren, Sara McCue (Steven Letcher), Heather McCue, Ashley Kirkland (Josh), Sydnee McCue, Alexander Fischbach (Samantha), Ethan Fischbach (Ciara Santangelo) and Grace Fischbach; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Padilla, Victoria Padilla, Rosalind Padilla, Lennon Fischbach, Axel Baker, Kal Kirkland, Tallulah Fischbach, Klaire Kirkland, Lucky Santangelo and Charlie Santangelo; and his family Amanda.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Noon (23840 Moline Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Newman Central Catholic High School and St. Andrews Catholic School in Rock Falls.
