With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond A. McCarty of Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McCarty and Bertha McCarty (Baker); and his sister Caroline "Suzie". He is survived by: his son Justin McCarty of Sterling; his siblings, Roice Scott (Dean) of Rock Falls, JoAnn Tubbs of Rock Falls, Danny McCarty (Mary) of Rockton, Pat McCarty (Chris) of Harmon, Marty McCarty (Terol) of Rock Falls and Roger McCarty of Sterling; his granddaughter Ravyn McCarty (Darian Gilpatrick); and his great grandchildren, Ayden and Amya.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Coloma Township Cemetery (908 Avalon St, Rock Falls, IL 61071).
