As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Neva may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence E. Olson and Lura Olson (Howe); and her husband Donald H. Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Rick Johnson (Jan) of Huntley, IL, Rodney Johnson (Wendy) of Mesa, AZ, Randy Johnson (Maribess) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Regina Porterfield (Gerald) of Chesapeake, VA; and her sister Verna Ireland of Geneseo. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rock Falls United Methodist Church (210 4th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Rock Falls United Methodist Church.
