He was predeceased by: his parents, Ingelbret Gulbranson and Marie Gulbranson (Håvelsrud); his wife Myrtle Hatten; and his siblings, Oscar, Garfield, Morris and Esther.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Byrd (Jeff) of Rock Falls, Kristine Stewart (Paul) of Marengo, IL, Sheryl Gulbranson of Dixon and Sean Gulbranson (Kelly) of Dixon; his sister Iola Moe of Sterling; his grandchildren, Morgan Russell, Taylor Byrd, Colin Stewart, Blake Stewart, Andrew Stewart, Brandy Imfeld, Alicia Gulbranson, Brooke Gulbranson and Gavin Gulbranson; and his great grandchildren, Riley, McKaylee Russell and Kailin Gulbranson.
Memorials may be made to the Home of Hope or the Alzheimer's Association.
