She was predeceased by: her parents, Aron Cardenas and Fidencia Cardenas (Saldana); her husband Benjamin Marquez; her sons, Benjamin and Marco Artemio; her brother Ruben Cardenas; her aunt Ninita; her son-in-law Juan Pinedo; and her grandson Juanito.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Hippen (Jack) of Dixon, Maria Elena Pinedo, Luis Marquez, Daniel Marquez (Mirella) of Chicago and David Marquez (Elena) of Dixon; and her sister Josefina Espinoza. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (600 Avenue B, Sterling, IL 61081).
