He was predeceased by: his parents, Lubia Perkins and Elaine Perkins; and his brother-in-law Bob Davenport. He is survived by: his wife Janet Perkins (Lambird); his children, Vicki Perkins of Centralia, Rhonda Perkins of Lemars, Ken Perkins of Rockford and Tammy Kelemen (Steve) of Rock Falls, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Jessica Ward, Nick Coad (Teena), Brittany Martin, Alexandria Nelson (Eddie), Carter Kelemen and Peyton Kelemen; his great grandchildren, Connor Bugge, Sophia Green, Brynlee Nelson, Presley Nelson, Ellie Nelson, Myles Nelson and Fletcher Kelemen; and his siblings, Larry "Pudge" Perkins (Barb), Sondra Gibbs (Enoch), Cheryl Davenport and Gloria Perkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and at 6:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The U.A. Plumbers and Pipefitters Union #653 and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to the Perkins Family.
