With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LeRoy Duden of Sterling, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. LeRoy left this world on November 14, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Duden and Lillian Duden (Obendorf); his wife Nancy Dunbar; his granddaughter Jeane'Duden Emler; and his brother Clarence Duden.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Duden (Dawn) of Sterling, Mark Duden of Freeport, Pat Cassotis of Sterling and Cindy Duden of Sterling; and his grandchildren, Jessica Duden, Jenny Duden, Randy Duden, Katrina Spangler and Allison Blakeney. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Christian Church of Sterling (3400 6th Ave, Sterling, IL 61081).
