He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Johnson and Sigurd Johnson; and his siblings, Roberta and William. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gayle Anderson; his children, Darren (Meredith) and Teri; his grandsons, Travis, Alex and Jack; and his siblings, Thomas (Sandra), Joyce (Frank), Marybeth (Steve) and Terry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schilling Funeral Home (702 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Rock River Hospice & Home.
