She was predeceased by: her parents, James Rowley and Dorothy Rowley (Day); and her niece Laurie Frank. She is survived by: her husband James Jaeger of Sterling; her children, Joy Jaeger (Garth Lewis) of Gary and Kenneth Jaeger of Fort Wayne, Indiana.; her siblings-in-law, Janet Harrington and Wayne Harrington of Sterling; and her nephews, Steven Harrington of Byron and Thomas Harrington of Sterling.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church (1601 Avenue F, Sterling, IL 61081). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to Messiah Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran School. Donations in Karen's memory to Happy Tails Humane Society (Sterling) or Granny Rose Animal Shelter (Dixon) are also appreciated to acknowledge Karen's deep love of animals, especially dogs and cats.
