She was predeceased by: her parents, Agapito Barretos and Margarita Barretos (Sevilla); her husband Francisco L. Torres; and her sister Rosa Escobedo. She is survived by: her children, Josephine Montañez (Victor) of Chicago, IL, Patricia Ohlendorf (Gregory) of Amboy, IL, José Torres (Loretta) of Orland Park, IL, Francisco Torres (Denise) of Chicago, IL, Salvador Torres (Dawn) of Sterling, IL and David Torres (Jennifer Cook) of Chicago Heights, IL; and her brother David Barretos. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
