He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Eggleston; and his brother Carl Eggleston. He is survived by: his mother Joan Eggleston; his children, Jami Fritz (Jon) and Josh Eggleston (Erin Clark); his sisters, Mary Mably (Tom), Jennifer Drayton (Bob) and Kiki Backoff (Greg); his grandchildren, Alexys Estrada, Grayson Fritz, Leo and Liza Clark; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Mably, Nicholas Drayton (Liz), Benjamin Drayton (Sierra), Samantha Backoff and Emma Backoff.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Ev. Lutheran Church (1601 Avenue F, Sterling, IL 61081). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church in Sterling, IL, to Rock River Hospice and Home, or to the March of Dimes.
