She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ohms and Anna Ohms; her husband Fred Block; her children, Karen Danekas and Jon Block; and her sister Elda Dahlquist.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Pyle (Steven) of Prior Lake, MN and Jeff Block (Caterina Ellrick) of Rock Falls; her daughter-in-law Debbie Block of Sterling; and her sister Marie Kent-Johns (Frank). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Sterling.
