Wike (Sterling, Illinois), born in Metamora, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry A. Waldschmidt and Lillian A. Waldschmidt (Elbert); her husband William Wike; her daughter Linda Knowles; her daughter-in-law Deborah Wike (Gary); and her siblings, Theoclete Wolf, Bernadine Coats, Betty Miller, Francis, Donald, Harvey and Richard Walschmidt.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Wike (Jennifer Bollman), Tim Wike (Cindy), Ted Wike, Tom Wike, Jim Wike (Maggie) and John Wike (Dana); and her siblings, Phyllis Conklen, Gloria Sproul (David) and Henry Waldschmidt (Marty). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made in her memory to St. Andrew Church or for Masses.
