We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025, at the age of 92, Catherine Grossman of Sterling, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Catherine leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bruce and Flora Bruce (McNeil); and her siblings, Robert Bruce (Evelyn) and Margaret Shearer (Archie). She is survived by: her children, Bruce Luther (Patricia) of Leesburg, FL, Terry Luther (Lee Ann) of Rock Falls, IL, Perry Lowry-Luther (Diane) of Maple Grove, MN, Scott Luther (Katie) of Simpsonville, SC, Glenn Luther (Kerry) of Lanark, IL and Flora May Braggo (Robert) of Dixon, IL. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oakwood Cemetery (416 S Dement Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
