With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Betty Jean Kirchner of Sterling, Illinois, born in Bridgeport, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Betty Jean left this world on October 9, 2024 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Palmer and Clara Palmer (Dolby); her husband Harry Kirchner; and her sisters, Marcella Holtz, Ruby Greenlee, Maxine Cummins and Beulah Rister.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Stern (Lyle) of Sterling and Cynthia Book (Dean) of Sterling; and her grandsons, Greg Stern (Lisa) of Madison, WI, Michael Stern of Sterling, Dustin Book (Laura) of Lombard, IL and Seth Book (Erin) of Sterling. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established.
