She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Smith and Amelia Smith of Sterling. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Behrens; her children, Marcia Ratliff of Sterling and Douglas Behrens (Donna) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, Jason Ratliff (Jennifer) of Wentzville, MO, Traci Shaw of Estacada, OR, Brittany Spears (Brad) of Sterling, Brandy Hall (Bryan) of Lyndon, Allison, Abby Ratliff, Roan Shaw, Brianne, Bentley Spears and Renley Hall.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church (1601 Avenue F, Sterling, IL 61081). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park (18268 Pennington Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
A memorial has been established to Christ Lutheran School.
