Theresa Elizabeth Van Ort Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Elizabeth Van Ort of Steger, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Van Ort; her brother George Loitz; and her parents, Henry and Frances. She is survived by: her children, Debra Charles (late Stephen), Diane Van Ort, John Van Ort (Cynthia) and Patrick Van Ort; her grandchildren, Court Charles (Christine), Tyler Charles, Connor Charles, Caitlin Van Ort and Van Ort; her great grandchildren, Harper Charles and Hadleigh Charles; and her sister Carol Duensing.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Liborius Catholic Church (71 W 35th St, Steger, IL 60475).
