She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Alex Sakal; her daughters, Diane Gutwa (Ralph), Nancy Ghiotto (Roy) and Barbara Sakal; her grandchild Erin Parson (Brad); her great grandchild Noelle; and her brothers, Richard Metzger (late Carol) and Robert Metzger.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the Smits-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Skyline Memorial Park (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
