He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Connell and Rachel Teneyuca; his siblings, Nicholas Connell and Ryan Connell; and his grandparents, Howard Lyne Jr. and Eileen Connell.
He is survived by: his sister Jessica Boersma; and his grandmother Penny Buchmeier (Mark).
