He was predeceased by: his wife Delia Garcia Perez; his siblings, Lupita Ramirez (late Remigio) and Emma Hanna (late Robert); and his parents, Guadalupe Perez and Angelita Perez (Jasso).
He is survived by: his children, Corina Schelfo (Tom) of Cedar Lake, IN, Daniel Perez of Chicago Heights, Norma Nakvos (Joseph) of Chicago Heights, Michael Perez (Julie) of Shorewood and Jo Ann Brannigan (Thomas) of Mokena; his grandchildren, Crystal, Danny Perez (Amber) and Danni Jochebed Perez; his children, Thomas, Breandan, John, Dylan Brannigan, Carly (Jeremiah), Joey Nakvos (Amber), Zachary Peterson Perez (Ashley), Emma and Benjamin Perez; his great grandchildren, William Peterson Perez, Elena, Emilio Nakvos, Emelia Perez and Anthony Nakvos; and his sister Virginia Vidal (Servando). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
