She was predeceased by: her parents, Celedonio Garcia Hernandez Sr. and Rachel Rosemary Ellsworth Hernandez; her husband Jimmy Reynolds; and her children, Misty Reynolds and Jimmy Reynolds Jr..

She is survived by: her daughters, Courtney Reynolds of Steger and Wendy Reynolds of Merrillville; her siblings, Diane Zunica (Jack) of Crete, Rachel Hernandez (Joe Poskin) of St Anne, Celedonio Hernandez Jr. (Fran McArtor) of Beecher, Juan Hernandez (Stella) of Beecher and David Hernandez (Vicki) of Beecher; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Stephen, Evan and Nico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
