With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie O'Laughlin of Steger, Illinois, born in Scotland, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gavin O'Laughlin; her parents, Ephraim Shawley and Florence Shawley; her sisters, Thelma Orton and Lousie Kelly (Gavin O'Laughlin); and her son Michael O'Laughlin.
She is survived by: her son Patrick O'Laughlin (Peggy O'Laughlin); her daughter-in-law Tami O'Laughlin; her grandchildren, Garrett O'Laughlin (Kim), Timothy O'Laughlin, Kaylee Villalobos (Adam) and Brenna O'Laughlin; and her great grandchildren, Hanna Villalobos, Audrey Villalobos and Lennox Drake. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Skyline Memorial Park (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
