He was predeceased by: his child Kenny Schmitz. He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Schmitz; his children, Ricky Schmitz, Judy Schmitz, John Running (Mary), Jimmy Running, Rodney Pruski (Jody), Sandy Crowley (Mike) and Kim Stokes (Scott); and his siblings, Judy Philips (Elsworth) and Barbara Yanule (Robert). He is also survived by grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
