He is survived by: his son Scott Chuck Smith (Mechele) of Crete, Illinois; his grandchildren, Alexander Smith of Crete, Illinois and Nikolai Smith of Crete, Illinois; his siblings, John Smith of Peterstown, WV and Mary Pritchard of Elizabeth City, NC; and his sister-in-law Emma Smith of Pacific, MO. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
