He was predeceased by: his brother Wilbert Joost of Steeleville; and his daughter Sandra. He is survived by: his parent Mathilda Joost (Lakeman); his wife Dorothy Joost of Steeleville; his children, Katherine Troue (Randy) of Percy, Connie Muench (Kevin) of Red Bud and Christine Froemling (Eric) of Ava; his grandchildren, Jennifer Armstrong (Nick), Jessica Eggemeyer (Adam), Kimberly Schlueter (Jeremy), Adam Muench, Elizabeth Froemling and Andrew Froemling; and his great grandchildren, Emma Sue Schlueter, Arabella Lynn and Adeline Marie Armstrong.
