It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian McCrary of Steeleville, Illinois, born in Ava, Illinois, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Melville and Nora Kenner Melville; her spouse Valley V. McCrary; her son Kevin Lee McCrary; her stepmother Julia Snider Melville; her siblings, Joan Lindsey, Marie Tanner, June Howard, Neola Blair and Charles Melville; her stepbrother Henry Heine; her half-brother Cleatus Kenner; and her grandson Danny Hale.
She is survived by: her children, Valley V. McCrary, Jr. (Kathy) of Sparta, IL, Rose Marie Bailey (Alan) of Cobden, IL, Marleen Robinson (Billy) of Lebanon, OR and Brenda Sue Ruebke (Brian) of Percy; her sisters, Judy Rieckenberg (Roger) of Willisville and Karen Ramsey (Steve) of Port St; and her brother-in-law Tom McCrary (Eddie) of Percy. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, and masks will be required.
