It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth L. Zeidler of Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son John Zeidler; her husband Tony Zeidler; her parents, Herman Hartmann and Frances Ivans Hartmann; and her siblings, Herman Hartmann, Albert Hartmann, Rufus Hartmann, Wilbert Hartmann, Frank Hartmann, Louise Beisner, Frances Duvardo and Florence Lehnhoff.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Hartmann (Ivans), Ruth Russell of Steeleville, IL and Barbara Howard of Springfield, IL; and her sister Anita Whittier. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL, and be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
