It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Jean Tiller of Steeleville, Illinois, born in Chester, Illinois, who passed away on September 9, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludwig Schroeder and Emma Hartenberger Schroeder; her husband Charles Harold Tiller; and her children, Charles R. Tiller and Sharon Vallett.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeri Chandler (Burt) of Newburn, TN; her children-in-law, Pam Tiller of Chester and Greg Vallett of Steeleville; her grandchildren, Jason Vallett (Celine), Julie Wickwire (Joe), Benjamin Tiller (Rachael), Emma and Ellie Chandler; and her great grandchildren, Daisy Vallett (Cadin Patterson), Colin Vallett and Jace Owen Wickwire.
By executive order, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
Memorials may be given to St. Mark's Lutheran School.
