He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Asbury and Marie Asbury; his daughter Debra Marie Asbury; and his siblings, Sally Owens, Joe Hardy, Sam Asbury, Donald "Buck" Asbury, Perry Asbury and Gary Keith Asbury.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hartman of Mark's Lutheran Church; his children, Ervin (Theresa), Darla Hollman (Tim) and Cheryl (Shane); his grandchildren, Ryan Asbury (Abbie), Justin Asbury (Rachael), Jennifer Langrehr (Andrew), Emily Grohmann (Nick), Heather Lee (Jeff), Steven Uchtman (Jenna), Joe Simmons (Alyse) and Danny Simmons; and his great grandchildren, Axton, Blakely Asbury, Liam, Amelia, Ben Langrehr, Jettson, Demi, Cash, Crew Grohmann, Miles, Emerson Lee and Ina Jo. He is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorials to be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, Illinois, St. Mark's Lutheran School, Steeleville, Illinois or Sparta Animal Hospital.
