It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie Meyer Schrader of Steeleville, Illinois, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her child Ryan. She is survived by : her husband Kenneth P. Schrader; her grandchildren, Tina, Tal, Ethan and Ada Rozene of Effingham, IL; her children, Paul, Cameron, Erin Schrader of Livermore, CA, Robert, Sandy, Nicholas, Caroline, Owen Schrader of Carmel, IN, Ann, Nathan, Ara, Eli Ratchford of Rolla, MO, Elizabeth, Randy, Cole, Cara Stanton of Salado, TX, Alisa Schrader and Joseph Cope of Auburn, IL.; her siblings, James Meyer (Connie), John Meyer (Shirley), Joseph Meyer, Mary Mulholland, Paul Meyer (Geri), Tony Meyer (JoAnn) and Rose Wright (Greg); and her sister-in-law Donna Kober.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (611 W Broadway St, Sparta, IL 62286). A rosary will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at 7:30 PM.
